Hello Millington,
This year we have decided to proceed with a new insurance company. The new company has requested the following:
1. All wood-burning fireplaces must be inspected annually before they are used. Once you get that inspected please submit the report to the office.
Note: If you do not use your wood-burning fireplace we ask that you fill out the fireplace affidavit located in Forms under the HOA Tab. We will record this and by the end of 2020 if you have not reported this to the office it may result in a fee.
2. If you have a gas fireplace please has it inspected as the manufacturers requires and submit the report to the office. As we don’t know what units have a gas fireplace if you are able to let the office know we will record this information.
3. All units must have a battery-powered smoke detector on every level of their unit in addition to their hard-wired smoke detector. The batteries must be changed out at least annually per our insurance company requirements.
